A sustainable and green campus, it all seemed like a dream! But wait, it’s a dream being turned into reality, grasping on to all the sustainable possibilities. It’s not quite an easy task, nor is it difficult. It is just the harnessing of like minds and actions propelled. From our little hands to mature minds, all are on it with earnest binds. From recycling to planting gardens, with plans to power the school with solar panels, to teaching students about green practices, instilling in them
a life-long interest in conserving the planet.
Sustainability has become a core concern among the younger generations, who aspire for an ecobuddy world. As citizens of the Earth, be it young or old, it lies with us to treat the environment with utmost care, to ensure that the natural world around us remains vibrant and healthy.
The collective effort at school has created a positive impact that has begun to permeate through
to various levels.
It says ‘Sustain’ ‘Able’ which means it is possible to sustain and the ability to sustain, is ‘Sustainability’! It is as simple as that. Simply put, ‘Sustainability’ is about small changes we can make to help take care of our planet. Making these changes helps protect animals, plants, and our natural resources so that future generations will be able to enjoy them as well.
Let us remove the hurt that has been caused.
If we try, it can be paused.
An awareness message here, an awareness message there.
Let us spread the message everywhere.
It’s for you. It’s for me. It’s for everyone.
Hear it loud. Hear it clear. Do not shun!
Let’s act on it, bit by bit.
And take it forward with real grit.
Come on everyone, let us do our little bit for our very own selves and for the generations to come! We do care, don’t we? Let the energy of those who care be greater than the energy of those to care less. The stronger the force, the better the results. May the ‘Green Force’ be with us! Tag along, all of you who love Mother Earth. She is yours and mine to value, to revive and to renew all that has been devastated, overused, and wasted! Sustain we shall, for it’s the ‘Ability to ‘Sustain’ that brings about ‘Sustainability’!
