SPARTANS 2024 – Sports Day (Primary) A cool Friday morning, 6th December 2024. The outdoors was truly welcoming and the green turf refreshingly inviting! Yes, just the perfect atmosphere and ambience for a sports day. SPARTANS 2024, the Primary Sports Day, a day where students come together for healthy competitive sports. The day began with the UAE National Anthem, followed by the Quran Recitation. The Principal, Mr. Muneer Chalil, warmly welcomed the gathering, highlighting the importance of sportsmanship and fair play. The much-anticipated march past was a splendid spectacle of colour and rhythm. Students of the 4 Houses marched with discipline, unity and coordination setting the mood of the day. The Olympic Torch, which was handed over to the student by our Principal, found its way to its pedestal, marking the opening of the Sports Meet. The awesome performance of the ceremonial band set the tone for a day of excitement and competition. The Mass Drill by the students of Grades 1 and 2, themed around the UAE, mesmerized the spectators. Their synchronized movements displayed unity, discipline, and the power of teamwork. Grades 3 and 4 performed their Aerobic Dance with the exuberance of youthful energy, on ‘Plant the Emirates’. The students enthusiastically participated in a wide and varied range of fun and skill sports races, with great passion and vigour. The competition progressed neck-to-neck with the house spirit soaring! Invariably, for every competition, the most awaited moment is the Prize Distribution ceremony, and it was witnessed with all good cheer. At the end of it all, it was a truly healthy competition which made everyone happy, students and teachers alike. Truly an enjoyable sports day, filled with joy and achievement! One to remember!
